2023 Romuald Valot Aloxe-Corton

Aloxe-Corton links the Cote de Nuits with the Cote de Beaune. The famous hill of Corton begins the change from contoured slopes to the more gentle valleys. The 2023 Romuald Aloxe Corton is a undulating mix of bright red raspberry and cherry with a soft swirl of black cherry and hints of truffle and mushroom. This wine is still youthful and can be enjoyed in this fresh vibrant stage, but a couple of years of aging will reveal an under texture of forest floor and a more brooding structure with rich chewy tannins. Perfect for fall drinking.
