2023 Domaine Etienne Delarche 'Les Renardes' Corton Grand Cru

The cellar at Marius Delarche literally overlooks the hill of Corton, one of the greatest vineyard plots in the world. With Grand Cru dirt of both the red and white variety, the slope of Corton is home to incredible grapes that make it into only a select few cellars. Winemaker Etienne Delarche philosophy is minimalist, low-intervention, and focuses on small-batch winemaking. The care and attention to detail each barrel receives borders on coddling. The Le Corton of Delarche offers a clarity and purity that should be held as an example of what great wine can and should be. Spicy and refined with a silky texture.
