2019 Perelada Finca Garbet Syrah
Located on the Spanish coast in Empordà sits a picturesque little beach named Garbet. Above it is the small vineyard holding on slate soils with slopes that coin the term “heroic viticulture”. The slopes, poor soils, and location right next to the ocean combine to create wines of extraordinary complexity. Aromatic herbs, ripe fruits, balsamic and mineral with an intense palate that is round and fresh at the same time, silky tannins with a long finish make this a bottle worth savoring.
