I grew up in the heart of California wine country, spending my childhood exploring the small, rustic wineries that dotted Napa Valley in its early days. I remember playing among the barrels and vines, long before many of those humble cellars grew into the world-famous estates they are today. Watching that transformation sparked a deep fascination not just with wine itself, but with the people, stories, and traditions behind every bottle.
That passion followed me into my academic life, where I earned a degree in Anthropology and Archaeology. It was through studying ancient cultures that I came to fully appreciate how deeply wine is woven into the human experience. Time and again, I uncovered evidence that wine played a central role in social rituals, trade, celebration, and daily life. I realized that wine isn’t just a beverage, it’s a reflection of history, culture, and community. That realization brought me back to Napa, where I went on to build a career leading sales and hospitality programs for several respected wineries.
Today, as a Wine Scout, I bring together my love of culture, storytelling, and connection to help clients discover wines that resonate on a deeper level. Whether it’s an old-world classic or a new-world gem, I’m here to help you find wines that speak to who you are and what you love.
