2023 Alain Girard 'L'Infidele' Sancerre

This iconic winery was founded in 1875 just outside of the town of Sancerre. It was purchased just over 50 years ago by the Girard family who modernized the winery and worked to renovate the vineyards. Alain Girard, Nicolas’s father, comes from several generations of winemakers from a tiny village just north of Chavignol and has a well earned reputation throughout this region. . L’Infidele was originally made by Alain and is the pinnacle of their Sancerre production each year.
