A big, ripe, voluptuous effort based on 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Curmudgeon shows darker cherries, blackcurrants, Asian spices, chocolate, and some graphite. It's full-bodied, ripe, layered, and supple, with soft tannins and a great finish. It's approachable today, but this hedonistic beauty should have no issues evolving for 15-20 years. Drink 2025-2045.
