2021 Three Furies ‘Constant Vengeance’ Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills

Beautiful and deeply colored with a crimson-purple hue. Still incredibly youthful and loaded with primary characters, the aromas are notable for the freshness and floral aromatics of violets, rose petals, black cherry, plum, rhubarb, fine spices and some leathery savory notes. Still a baby but showing huge potential for complexity. The youthfulness extends to the palate. Firm, tight and fresh; this one needs time to open. Grippy, chalky even, the balance is never the less exceptional and evenly layered. Red cherry dominates, raspberry style red fruit with some sage herbal notes and anise type spices. The wine finishes slightly gamey along with loads of rhubarb and red fruits with firm and minerally tannins.
